At Carbon Games Inc. ("Carbon Games," "we," or "us"), we have a few fundamental principles:
We own and operate the carbongames.com website (the "Site") and the AirMech™ computer game (the "Game"). It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any personal information we may collect while operating the Site and the Game.
Like most website and game operators, Carbon Games collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose for collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use the Site and the Game. From time to time, we may release non-personally identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Site or the Game.
We may disclose your personally identifying information only to our employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (a) need to know the information to process it on our behalf or to provide services available through the Site or the Game and (b) have agreed to keep the information confidential and not disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country. By using the Site or the Game, you consent to the transfer of your personally identifying information as described in this paragraph.
We will not rent or sell personally identifying information to anyone. However, we will disclose personally identifying information in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our property or rights, third parties, or the public at large.
If you are a registered user of the Site and have supplied your email address, we occasionally may send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date regarding our products and services. We typically use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users.
Carbon Games will take commercially reasonable measures to protect against the unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of your personally identifying information.
The Site includes sections for interactive blogs and forums to which users with a registered account may post. In addition, within the Game, you may participate in real-time interactive chat with other players. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in the blogs, forums, or in-game chat becomes public information in which you relinquish any expectation of privacy. Also, please remember that Carbon Games asks that you not disclose any personal information when posting in the blogs, forums, or in-game chat, and you should exercise caution when deciding what information to share. We reserve the right, but do not have the obligation, to monitor your use of the blogs, forums, and in-game chat.
We will not permit individuals age 13 or younger to register and obtain an account, and we request that such individuals do not provide any personally identifiable information to us through the Site or the Game. If a parent or legal guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personally identifiable information, he or she should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will delete the information.
