I know its more than likely wrong but my Antivirus Norton 360 always finds Airmech.exe a Virus.

Error message come up that SONAR has detected Airmech.exe to showing suspicious activity, and hence Norton deletes it.

I just think that if Airmech gets a wider alpha test group many might be worried about the virus alert and just delete it without testing.

But I trust Arcen Games :)

It's just because not many people are playing AirMech, so Norton doesn't like the fact that an "unknown" exe is going out to the internet and patching itself. Once enough people are playing AirMech, this problem should go away.

Personally I haven't used Norton in forever, it always seems to cause more problems than it fixes. I used AVG for a number of years until it got too bloated, and by that time Microsoft Security Essentials actually became a stable and well performing tool, and now I use MSE everywhere.

Haha, no worries, I think we all knew what you meant. And even if you didn't I was going to imagine it that way anyway! :)

Whatever part of the internet gave you that idea must have been a pretty terrible place. A simple mistake like that deserves maybe a couple laughs, but definitely not flaming or anything. We're not monsters =P

Erik from Arcen Games here. Just checking-in to make sure everyone's being civil, and no one has attacked this guy for mixing up one excellent indie dev for another. Glad to see that's the case. (Actually just caught this on our google alerts. :D)

Also AirMech rocks, it was awesome meeting/exhibiting alongside you guys at MineCon!

Hello Erik

Yes at MineCon when I was writing down some details of awesome games and their Dev crew I did mix up some of the information. I wrote down that Arcen Games was company doing Airmech, and that Carbon Games was doing A Valley Without Wind.

Both of which I have had the great chance to play the games and meet some of the Devs,

Indie Game Devs I salute you!
